Part-time formulary-based dispensing pharmacy

Patients must have a current and valid prescription from a physician.  
If you believe that you may be eligible for help with your prescription medication, please call us at 697.8422.  We can screen you on the phone to let you know how we may be able to assist you.

Monday 12-5

Wednesday 8-12

Friday 9-3

Pharmacy stocks a variety of generic medications, as well as some name-brand medications.  Brand-name medications tend to focus upon the specific health needs of uninsured persons, especially diabetic medications and supplies, mental health medications, and medications for asthma or other breathing problems.

AstraZeneca Medications free for eligibile patients.

Pharmacy is available to eligible residents of Polk, Transylvania, and Henderson Counties.

The Community Pharmacy is staffed by two part-time pharmacists, one part-time pharmacy technician, and a team of seven volunteers.  In 2010-11, the pharmacy dispensed 8,071 prescriptions valued at $827,165.
