Dental Clinic

Free extractions of infected, broken, or damaged teeth.

TFC has a dental extraction clinic by appointment on Thursday evenings at Stokes Dental Center, Blue Ridge Community Health Services.  Clinic provides extractions of infected, broken, or damaged teeth, as well as dental hygiene information.

Patients must phone TFC (697.8422) at 10am on Thursday morning to receive a same-day appointment for Thursday evening.

There are usually 14 appointments available each week, with approximately seven patients seen per practitioner.

The Dental Clinic is currently staffed by a volunteer team consisting of 17 dentists, 8 dental hygienists, 23 dental assistants, and 24 lay volunteers.  In 2010-11, clinic provided 457 patient visits.
