Community Garden Cleanup Day

Mark your calendar – LOTS of volunteers needed! Our big Garden Cleanup Day is scheduled for Friday, April 12, throughout the day from 9am-3pm…no green thumb necessary! We need approximately 10-20 volunteers to come help us turn our soil, amend it with compost and fertilizer, rebuild planting boxes, and other garden tasks. Please contact if you would like to help for any part of the day. Many hands make light work!

About Salon
The Free Clinics’s longest-running event, Salon is an evening of fine wine and food, art and entertainment, and engaging conversations, all in an unexpected setting. Hosted at The Oriole Mill, guests nibble and sip on delicious offerings from generous local chefs and beverage purveyors while browsing and bidding on the array of unique items and experiences that comprise our silent auction.  You can check out photos from 2018’s event here: Salon 2018.

Ticket Pricing
Early bird discount (through April 12th): $75 per person
Standard ticket (after April 12th): $85 per person

Individual sponsorships are available. All sponsors will receive tickets to the event and will be publicly recognized for their generosity. Sponsors at the Pioneer, Visionary, Leader, and Champion levels are invited to attend a private pre-event reception. During this intimate gathering, Executive Director Judith Long will share insights about the latest trends in healthcare and exciting developments in our community.

Sponsorship Levels
Patron: $250 – 2 tickets will be mailed to you in appreciation of your contribution
Friend: $500 – 2 tickets will be mailed to you in appreciation of your contribution
Champion: $1,000 – 2 tickets and private reception 
Leader: $2,500 – 4 tickets and private reception 
Visionary: $5,000 – 8 tickets and private reception 
Pioneer: $10,000 – 12 tickets and private reception

Sunset Dining on the Mountaintop

Sunset Dining is a unique event in an unparalleled setting. The Cabin Ridge on top of Sugarloaf Mountain boasts stunning views of the summer sunset over the mountains, which attendees can take in while enjoying a gourmet farm-to-fork seated dinner, wine pairings, live music, and dancing in a beautiful open air pavilion.

The Plunge!

The Plunge is a fun and funny, family-friendly party by the lake featuring a live band, food truck fare, kids’ games, and the main event – a raucous auction for the opportunity to push Hendersonville’s well-known movers and shakers into the water! That’s right – you can bid on your favorite local celebrities for the chance to dunk them in the lake! 

Our inaugural end of summer celebration features live music, food trucks, beer & cider, kids’ games, and more!
