Make Bo Take The Plunge!

“When asked if I would take part in the ‘The Plunge’ event for the Free Clinics, how could I refuse? What a better way to show my appreciation to The Free Clinics for providing such a tremendous healthcare service to our community.”

A native of Henderson County, Bo Caldwell has a rich history in Henderson County Public Schools. After graduating from West Henderson High School, he earned his B.S. in Mathematics from Mars Hill College and his Masters of Arts in Education and an Educational Specialist Degree from Western Carolina University. He has been in education for over 35 years, working as a classroom teacher, Assistant Principal, Principal, Senior Director of Human Resources, Assistant Superintendent of Administrative Services and is currently our Superintendent of Schools.

A champion for the children and youth in Henderson County, Mr. Caldwell strives to ensure that HCPS is committed to developing and serving the academic, social/emotional and personal aspects of a young person’s life, and is dedicated to each member of the HCPS Family.
